The reggae band from Concepción, Congo Map, presents new single “Mari Mari”, a commitment to cultural education through music, exposing their Mapuche knowledge and how it is intertwined in the daily lives of the people from the cities of Biobío, south of Chile.
The new musical production is a combination with the singer Llaupe Reggae from Temuco, artist belonging to the Mapuche nation who participates in this single recorded in Concepción and Temuco (Leufü Studio and Bhappy Studio respectively), about the popular Real Rock Riddim, rhythm originally from Studio One in Jamaica but with new sound arrangements typical of Congo Mapu's style.
“Come Come”, says relation to a greeting that in its composition means diez (mari = number 10), that is to say, your ten and my ten, and is part of the traditional Mapuche greeting (Chalin).
