“Rasta Time”, Yaadcore's new single

The Jamaican artist Yaadcore released the video clip of “Rasta Time”, new song that gives title to his next EP. The video, directed by Jesse James, It was filmed in the Trelawny Hills, In Jamaica, images reflecting the song's focus on Rastafari culture, spirituality and connection with nature.

“Rasta Time” revisits the spiritual and cultural legacy of the Rastafari Messiah and Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie I, and highlights the movement's influence on modern wellness culture, decades before veganism became widespread. The new single, offers a powerful lesson in Rastafari history and reflects on its cultural and religious ethos.

The single also represents a collaboration between Jamaica and Africa. Nigerian producer Jayscilla provided the original beat, while Christopher Campbell was in charge of guitar. The track was recorded on the label 12 Yaad Records de Yaadcore, was mixed and processed by River Nile—son of legendary producer Cleveland Browne, from the duo Steely & Clevie—and mastered by Natural High.
