Spanish reggae band Roots Habits launched “Music is I (Live Session)”, one of the first songs he composed several years ago and is one of the four that are part of the Live Session that they recorded a while ago and that now sees the light.
“The lyrics are about the importance of music in our lives as musicians and using it as an instrument to carry a positive message.. We reference Peter Tosh in part of the lyrics 'Fighting against downpression. Equal Rights’, because although it is a soft song it has a strong and important message which is to fight with love as a weapon”, the group residing in Barcelona raised about the song.
Previously the group had already launched “The Show” Y “Tell Me Rastaman” belonging to this Live Session and they assured that with these releases they began a new stage in which they will publish new songs.
Currently the band is made up of Venezuelans Diego Villalobos (bass and voice) Y Mario Jauregui (guitar and voice), the spanish Juan Da Costa (drums), the russian Slav Obukhov (keyboard) Y Ramiro Raman (saxophone). further, they have Luis Marcano as FX and sound engineer.
The project is influenced by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Tribal Seeds Y Groundation and besides the sounds, They also seek to promote the message of the genre and remain faithful to its principles., bases and convictions.
