The singer Masicka just released last week his third studio album called Forever Reign, a project with which he intends to mark a new stage in his career.
In addition to that premiere, The Portmore native also released the video clip for the single “1Psalm”, album title song, a high impact combination with Damian Marley.
The song has a powerful spiritual background urging us to pray a Psalm a day and says in its lyrics: “Every night I pray to Jah, the gift that never leaves me/ Share it and don't be greedy, the family will never need / Sometimes I feel strong alone, but Jah never leaves me”.
These premieres form a key moment for the artist, who in recent years has established himself as one of the most important figures of the new generation of dancehall.
Likewise, last saturday 15 August he starred as one of the headliners the Reggae Fest Presents Masicka at Barclays Center de Brooklyn, NY, with a full house.
“Love is great respect for everyone who made this night possible. (…) Big fans. Every artist who plays the stage is great. Teamwork makes the dream work”, he wrote on his social networks after the show.
