A call to cultivate self-love, to break with the stereotypes of beauty and the prejudices established by the system when it comes to pigeonholing women, is what Almeyda de la Riddim presents in "Rara", new production of the emerging artist who is currently preparing the launch of her debut album.
Acceptance, self esteem, love to the different, rebellion, empowerment, awakening of conscience and putting in check the pillars of a structure pre-established by a patriarchal macho system developing a more critical thinking, are part of Almeyda's narrative in this new musical proposal on a dancehall base mixed with urban rhythms, whose message - especially aimed at young women and adolescents- seeks to shake minds and invites to dance with each chord of his video clip.
With "Rara", Almeyda de la Riddim continues on the lyrical path of his previous proposals such as “Queen" The "Moon Empower”, songs that quickly became popular on social networks adding reproductions on their YouTube channels and Spotify.
Produced by Alejandro Jorquera for Macetero.cl, the beat and musicalization were created by Captain Jungla in co-production with Aeroplant; the mastering was in charge of the Chilean engineer Chalo González. The video clip was directed by Darío Lemus from Panda Estudios.
"RARA" is now available on YouTube and all the music by Almeyda de la Riddim can be found on their digital platforms. For this one 2021, the artist prepares the release of her debut album “Voice that Heals”.
