Reggae Chalice spoke with the band's vocalist, Raul Navarro, who told us that the entire work and gestation process of this album “was very enriching, both musically, as in human. The entire recording phase, mixing and mastering took a year, It was arduous and exhausting., but we are left with the great learning of having been able to work alongside Oscar “Chico” López, to Quique (snow), Jim Fox y Francisco Medina”.
“Seed of Hope”, a call for acceptance of one another, to equality, to environmental awareness, to love, Life and unity are the central elements of the message that they share with us in the journey through these ten songs, those that mark the beginning of one cycle and the beginning of another, an important step towards the professionalization of music, as Raúl tells us. This album was made entirely in Concepción, in Artifact studies, record company associated with the already emblematic, Nicanor Winery, where the band has performed on numerous occasions.
Produced by Quique Neira during 2015, mixed by Oscar “Chico” López (Lucybell, The Law, D Kiruza, among others), recorded by Francisco Medina and mastered by Jim Fox at Lion & Fox Studios located in Washington DC, USA, The album was made entirely in the city of Concepción, in the studios of the Artefactos seal, record company associated with Bodeguita de Nicanor, a cultural space where the band has performed on numerous occasions and who are also at the head of the organization of the Redención Festival that will take place in June in the southern cities of Conce and Temuco.
“Working with Quique has been a tremendous experience, With him we were able to learn from many resources and musical concepts of Reggae that he brought from his trips to Jamaica..
