The dub genre emerged from the experimentation of reggae music in the years 1960. It is a subgenre of reggae, although its development has widely reached other genres such as electronics. Dub primarily consists of music with electronic effects such as echo, reverb, delay or other types of sounds, and on other occasions the instrumental remixing of previously existing recordings, Elaborate versions of the original shot, where vocals are removed and drum and bass sounds are emphasized (also know as “riddim”).

Para Kutral, “el dub, in relation to reggae productions, They have been shown to have a very important value, since it brings an exclusivity, a work by those of us who do it with a lot of inspiration and also with a very special connection since the dub brings a reinterpretation of the songs that are remixed. At an international level, the culture of the soundsystem is growing a lot, At the national level it is also what makes me very happy and I call on the soundsystem to get to know local music, to play local music as there is a lot that can be played on sound systems ”.
