– How has the pandemic affected you as a music worker??
The pandemic cut off much of my workflow that has to do with live music. The shows are over, the tours are over, event production is over, so that ended a lot of my regular work, having to dedicate time to my other areas such as the recording studio that has been my livelihood for more than a year, practically since the social outbreak (October 2019). It has been time to adapt and strengthen this area that perhaps was not the primary one., but it was always present. It was an ace up his sleeve..
– What alternatives or government support have you received??
I don't dare call it government aid because it's really just loans., I'm borrowing my own money. For example, I made use of those three auto loans based on the amount of your bills, luckily I have everything in order, So I lent myself money that I have to pay back so I don't consider it government aid.. It's self help, the government only gives the name. Ah, I think I received a box with food.
– Although it has been revoked, What do you think of the measure to ban packaged music in restaurants or cafes??
I understand the explanation, It is still “true”, but if one does not want to harm the music, it was enough to -instead of banning it-, adjust the level, that the music has to be at a certain level allowing one not to raise one's voice. Regulating has a double benefit because it makes the space a little more attractive and allows the people who generate copyrights, continue generating income from the reproductions of your songs. Banning music would be a new blow to this already depleted area.; you can fly by plane, that is full of people, and you cannot enter a theater where attendance is regulated, physical separation and sanitary measures. It is a somewhat cynical measure that affirms certain truths to pretend that they generate real measurements, but they are not so.
