D'Yani released his debut album “Live Life and Prosper”

The emerging Jamaican singer D'Yani just released his debut full-length album called Live Life & Prosper under the production of Kareem “Remus” Burrell, son of the legendary Phillip “Fate” Burrell, of XTM.Nation, in addition to Lizzy Records.

After his EP Muse from last year in which I explored the R&B y el afrobeats, on this new album 11 songs, D'Yani returns to reggae as a backbone, although without abandoning ska, the gospel, soul and hip hop, maintaining an identity that does not disperse.

The song “Journey”, which had already been released as a single and video last June, It is the one that opens the disk, engraved on the Tuff Gong Studios with harmonies of Sherieta Lewis, Roselyn Williams and Tamekia Moncrieffe, sets the tone from the first chord.

While closing with “Jah Has Been Too Good” completes the spiritual circle of the album, while between the two there are other songs like “Be My Mother”, originally written as a birthday gift for his mother, “Dutchpot” and “Live a Little” they show an artist who writes from life, not from the formula.

“Journey is a very personal song. Wine from real experiences: the tall ones, the bass, the growth, the losses, the blessings. Everything that shapes you. I wasn't trying to force a story, I was simply speaking my truth.”, said the artist to Jamaica Gleaner.

The album is available on all digital platforms.
