Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, It is already in Chile within the framework of an official visit seeking cooperation between the two countries, particularly in sports, economy and tourism.
During his brief stay in Chile, Holness will have a series of bilateral commitments with the Government, beginning with a reception at the Palacio de la Moneda and meetings with President Michelle Bachelet.
It will also explore other areas of cooperation, including tourism and business development, in a dialogue that will be held during the afternoon with senior managers and national businessmen from the tourism and hotel industry of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Chile.
The prime minister arrives accompanied by Senator Kamina Johnson Smith who is also Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade; Alison Stone Roofe, Jamaican Ambassador, as well as the economic advisor and Ambassador of Jamaica, Nigle Clarke. The highest authority of the Caribbean island returns to his country tonight.
