Women artists unite against gender violence in new song “Ni Una menos”

The fight of women against violence in Chile is not a new issue. Although the “feminist wave” that was strongly formed in 2018 allowed to make violence against women visible, where progress has been made in public policies that aim to curb this situation, at the same time that the classification of femicide was expanded; even so, The figures continue to be shocking regarding the number of women who die each year as a result of femicide, and justice continues to do so in this matter.

Under this theme, Reggae Chalice presents "Not one less", single that features the voices of great talents not only from the Reggae Dancehall scene, but also rap and urban music, as they are Maialem, Almeyda of the Riddim, Mary Zion Y Kirmotta Black.

The unprecedented combination of female voices occurs in the context of a new commemoration of International Women's Day, and within the framework of Women's Month as March is considered, at a time when women have been hit even harder as a result of the pandemic that affects the world and is still in force; and that has caused a significant increase in violence against women in all aspects, physical, psychological, and economic.
