"Full lung", the new of José Dolores

These days it was one year since the Chilean artist José Dolores released his first album Homonymous, compilation that brought together all the musician's singles from 2011 until 2015. August will be the month in which we will know what is new about this national artist, a Rastaman with a long history in Reggae music.

Reggae Chalice spoke with Pato B, almost a month before he presents his next production, who told us that “the spirit of the album is a return to more current sounds and confirmation that the message and sound of José Dolores is still more relevant than ever”.

“A todo Pulmón” brings together eight songs, made under the hand of Ghetto Rude Star Records, which features MasterKush DubSystem productions, Captain Jungle, Dub Terminator y Goodman Music, second EP of the artist after “Comienzo”, work that marked the beginning of his new stage as a soloist in 2012.

Asked about his previous experience with this type of productions, José Dolores said that “the response has been positive since both the EP “Beginning” and the Homónimo album did the job of disseminating my work as a soloist and conquering the hearts of the Latin American Reggae audience.”.

For the second semester of 2016 José Dolores prepares the release of the first single (in july) and from the album “A todo Pulmón” (in August). In September, the artist returns to Lima, Peru, to participate in the “Vive Fest 2016” with Ysabel Omega, The Rabanes and The Blackbirds, to name a few, instance in which it will also record the video of “Love is the Solution”.

Finally, José Dolores commented that in October he has already prepared some surprises and sent greetings to the readers of our magazine: “I sincerely hope that this publication helps spread this new work and that more people can get to know my music.”. A big greeting and good vibes to the readers of Reggae Chalice, thank you for the support and love always. Keep believing in this music because it is more alive than ever. not like that mah!”.
