Quique Neira reverts Natalino's classic on the eve of Mother's Day

  • The new reggae-key version of “Ángel del pasado” coincides with this traditional celebration and is part of his Ep Cover Me Again.

The Chilean singer, icon of Reggae, launched a particular version of the emblematic song by Natalino on the music market, “angel from the past”, by Hugo Manzi, song that leads to its own register with a result that will surely attract the attention of audiences.

“I think in these times (and in all) signs are needed, symbolisms. That's why I chose this song inspired by children and for the same reason I decided to release it right on the weekend when Mother's Day is celebrated.. Family is everything, from there everything in life and in society is built. Associate a song to these concepts, It is my humble way of contributing something that helps us all to cope with this moment in our lives.”, commented the artist.

About this new job, which was made in times of pandemic from his studio Madera & Water and which had a mix and master by Bigtouch under the label of his own label, Good Things Productions, Quique Neira added that “we urgently need to assimilate this. It is not a cliché to say that children are the future., it is a warning, a call to reason. Everything society does should have the well-being of children at its center and if things are as they are, it is because we have not done well what must be done well in an essential way”.

The track is now available on all of the artist's digital platforms, and also has a video clip on his YouTube channel. Finally, the musician said that “this song is a beautiful creation that hits the center of this reflection. We still have time to redirect ourselves. Children and their well-being should be our guide and inspiration”.
