It is now available for free download "Cachay", the last work of Mista Coco and Barrio Moreno, a 'EP "seven songs, recorded in Chile and abroad, production which is the prelude to what already in 2017 the artist from Concepción will present.

The word "Cachay" is a Chilean idiom that is generally used as a crutch, expression that is commonly associated with "understanding" something. Widely used and already practically incorporated into the everyday language of most Chileans, this word was precisely chosen as the name of the production because it reflects the “Chilean identity”. This was expressed by Mista Coco in conversation with Reggae Chalice, explaining that this title reflects "the feeling of Chile in Europe" after observing the musical movement in Denmark and Germany.

With "Cachay", Mista Coco and Barrio Moreno presents a proposal with mergers, always at the base of Reggae and dancehall, but also venturing into other mixes such as Balkan and electronic music.

With fifteen years in music, Mista Coco says goodbye to the year 2016 with this work and already perspective what will be the 2017. From Concepción, where the reggae scene has already positioned itself with great free festivals, the artist whose distinctive singing style is unmistakable, for him 2017 projects a new work format, now with El Barrio Moreno band, musicians from the region and with whom he will rescue the best of his solo career, so also new material.

This proposal for working with a band is expected to be ready for the public in April., under the next Reggae Natural Festival for Peace.
