Vybz Kartel leads the nominations with 11 mentions in 9 categories, between them, Artist of the Year, Best Song for “God is the Greatest”, Best Album for Heart & Soul, Best Crossover and Best Collaboration by “PBT” beside Travis Scott Y “You Remind Me” with DJ Khaled, among other.
Among the other nominees also stand out Sean Paul, that added 8 nominations, followed by Spice Y Shenseea, while DJ Khaled will be the presenter of the night.
Tributes to great artists
The ceremony will also pay tribute to the historic Burning Spear, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognition that the founder of the event reserves for those who defined the genre.
While the “Queen of Reggae”, Marcia Griffiths, Y Mavado They will also receive special honors, along with other acclaimed artists such as Spragga Benz, Wayne Armond, the icon of Congolese music Awilo Longomba Y Gramps Morgan.
