Gondwana confirmed for Cosquín Rock of Argentina, Mexico and Chile

One of the most established festivals in Argentina expands its Latin American footprint with the announcement of two new editions, in Mexico and Chile, events that until now have in common the name of Gondwana, one of the international reference bands of reggae in Spanish, which these days is celebrating the release of its first vinyl, within the framework of their 30 years of history.

Gondwana is one of the best-known national bands in the world and also one of the most listened to on digital platforms. – It already has more than a million monthly views on Spotify- and the Chilean group with the most live activity abroad, averaging 80 performances per year.

The group on permanent continental tour adds performances this year in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Mexico. In that framework, the next 9 June they will be at the Cosquín Rock in Guadalajara (next to Molotov, Babasonics, My Farter, Attack 77) and in October they will be part of the first Chilean edition that will take place at the Movistar Arena (6 Y 7) along with Molotov and The Authentic Decadents.

Founded in 1987 by bassist and composer I-Locks Labbé, Gondwana is recognized as one of the pioneering and most experienced bands of Latin American reggae.. Eight studio albums, a live DVD recorded in Argentina and a compilation of singles which includes the re-issue of their first album 'Gondwana’ (BMG, 1997) for the first time on vinyl (Sony, 2018), work that sold more than 80 thousand copies (Triple Platinum Record) and that released hits like 'Sentimiento Original', 'It's mine’ and 'Harmony of Love', Chilean rock classics from the nineties.
