- Life under a pandemic has been sweet and sour for Talulah, who in conversation with Reggae Chalice spoke about his new single and advanced projects for what remains of this troubled 2020.

“Lejos” is the name of this single that will be released precisely on Friday 11 of September, a date with a high emotional and commemorative charge, that -in his words- It was a coincidence but it makes a lot of sense regarding what the date means in the history of the country.
This new work redirects Talulah to reggae. The EP “ Desde el Sur ” has a marked Ska seal, and “Far” also has that root, Well, the original song is a Ska song that he performed years ago with the band Manifesto Ska Jazz., authorship that falls to the guitarist of said band, Felipe Galaz, and whose creation is one dedicated to the band's former clarinetist 12 tribes, Alvaro Quinchagual, who died long ago 7 years.
In conversation with Reggae Chalice, Talulah commented that this song is very meaningful to her., “I had the debt of editing it, They have asked me for it on many occasions and at this time when I have been able to be more dedicated to music, it was one of the songs that I felt a duty to release., although it is not my authorship, “I feel very identified with her”.
He added that “it is a very heartfelt song that talks about a person who is not present but who is still there and who left a musical legacy.”, and that the song matches the date, “What makes sense to me is to vindicate the memory of people who are no longer here.”.
Recorded between April and May, in this song - to which Reggae Chalice had exclusive access, Great musicians from the Reggae scene participate, such as Baltazar Neira on bass., Victor “Bigtouch” on the keyboard; Felipe Galaz, author of the song who recorded the guitars, He was also in charge of the general production and mastering of this reggae version.; Emmanuel Valencia and Polo García in the bronzes, Poli Dread on percussions.
Finally, The singer shared a reflection on the moment and what music generates in people: “There is great uncertainty and anguish regarding when all this will be resolved.”, of all the human losses resulting from Covid, all this is super heavy, it has been tremendous, many people have died (…)
