One of the leading dancehall reggae artists, Capleton, received the award “Living Legend” to recognize his outstanding contribution to Jamaica's musical heritage.
The award was presented by the production company Midas Entertainment during the listening party for their new album released last year. 26 of June, Heights of Fire, performed at Jangas Sound Bar, and Kingston.
After receiving the award, The charismatic artist maintained that his first album in 16 years is dedicated to transmitting the timeless message of reggae, while preserving the legacy of those who paved the way.

He also said he was “surprised and honored” for the recognition, thanking fans for their unconditional support.
During the session, Capleton also paid an emotional tribute to the recently deceased singer Fantan Mojah, observing a minute of silence before declaring that the singer's music “will never be forgotten”.
