after a long wait, Gondwana releases the new single “Cahuita”

The most important reggae band in Chile, Gondwana, just released this Friday 5 of May his last single called “Cahuita”, after several years of waiting for new material.

As the band explains, this theme is inspired by the town of the same name, in the southern Caribbean of Costa Rica, the destination where the leader of the band, I-Locks, found his home.

“A place full of nature, where flora and fauna next to beautiful beaches, a warm and friendly climate that makes an intoxicating combination with Reggae and Calypso that sounds in every corner of this magical town”, supports the group in their social networks by presenting this song.

The song has the collaboration of Juanchi Baleiron, vocalist of Los Pericos; former drummer for Cultura Profética, Boris Bilbraut; and also of Walter Ferguson, distinguished Costa Rican musician and calypso legend, passed away last February at 103 years, shortly after recording the song.

This is Gondwana's first single after “We are The Lions”, which had the participation of the great Mykel Rose (ex Black Uhuru), premiered in 2020.

Made under the wing of InnerCat Music and with the support of the Cahuita Chamber of Commerce, We invite you to see this great single from the national group.
