The Wailers confirm show at Club Subterráneo before Surfestival

The legendary band that accompanied Bob Marley, The Wailers, one of the most influential groups in the history of reggae, returns to Chile with a surprising announcement of “side” show in the Underground Club the next Friday 30 from January, in the run-up to his participation in the Surffestival La Serena.

The show is part of “The Legend Tour”, 50 years of Positive Vibrations, international tour paying tribute to the iconic album “Rastaman Vibration” of 1976.

In this presentation, the public will be able to enjoy timeless Bob Marley classics performed by the official lineup of The Wailers as “War”, “Rat Race” O “Who The Cap Fit” to name a few, in a show full of history, original identity and sound.

The band is currently under the management of Aston Barrett Jr., son of the historic bassist Aston “Familyman” Barrett, key piece in the sound that defined The Wailers with his brother, the drummer Carlton Barrett, under the leadership of Bob Marley.

The main vocal is provided by Mitchell Brunings, singer internationally recognized for his vocal power and his ability to transmit the spiritual and musical essence of roots reggae.

In addition to the classical repertoire, The concert will include songs from his most recent album Evolution, where The Wailers fuse traditional reggae with contemporary nuances, reaffirming the validity and projection of the band in the current music scene.

Tickets are available through Ticketplus, with prices ranging from $22.000 in presale and $27.500 general.
