jamaican singer Popcaan -together with the producer Dre Skull– just released a version “deluxe” from his debut album Where We Come From, which originally premiered on 1 of January of 2014.
The album had excellent reviews and received high praise from his followers and dancehall fans., further reached the number position 2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and the number 21 on Heatseekers Albums list.
“I am very proud of the work I did in Where We Come From and the doors it opened for me and for dancehall music in general. From international collaborations to chart topping, passing through the stages where I have been lucky enough to perform for my fans, It has truly been a blessing.”, Popcaan said in an interview with The Observer that he collected Urban Islandz.
The singer also maintained that this edition “deluxe” It is a thank you to his fans for the support received over the years.
“This deluxe version is for my fans, the unruly family, who have appreciated and supported the album for a decade and counting, this is especially for them. We have two new songs on the album, from the Where We Come From era that we recorded, but we never release or include in any project”, emphasized the “Unruly Boss”.
The two additional songs are “Beat The Struggles” Y “Wond’t Finesse Me”, plus an acoustic edition of “Where We Come From”.
