“Back to base”, with the sounds that fueled his passion for reggae, That is the search that Mama Ordán wanted to capture in her third album, which is available from this Friday on all music platforms such as Spotify o YouTube.
The album's nine tracks mark a return to simplicity, with retro melodies and sounds, a more acidic and even tragicomic touch to address topics such as love, the money, the life of the trans-Andean artist and the social commitment that always accompanies.
The disk -“prequel” of his others 2 Albums “Yes, yes, yes!” Y “Respect”- features guests like Israel Montenegro from Argentina, in addition to Érica Alonso and Balaguero from Chile, and was produced by Randall Castro (aRNine Music – Costa Rica) and Sergio Manganelli (The Hornito) with the collaboration of Jah Fabio (Riddim Farm – México).
“I am an admirer of Chilean reggae”
Ordán is preparing an upcoming visit to present his latest work and told Reggae Chalice the closeness and affection he has both with the Chilean public and with several musicians with whom he has shared stages and recordings.
“I greatly respect the work and above all the quality of work that the artists have., especially in the reggae genre (…) I am a total admirer of Chilean reggae”, assured.
“In 2015 I did my first tour of Chile and I really fell in love, The public received me in an impressive way, I related very well, I became very attached to the Chilean public”, he added.
In his near 30 shows performed in the country since 2015 To the date, Not only did he share stages with great reggae figures such as Gondwana O Quique Neira, He has also managed to cultivate friendships with several national exponents.
“Now on my last album I recorded a song with Balaguero, I have a very great friendship with Mista Coco, well countless friends like José Dolores, Revel, black ark, they are friends of mine, I love you very much. So in some way I am always linked to Chile, with its artists and with its audience”, he highlighted.
Regarding your visit to promote the album, This will be at the beginning of October, specifically the 4 Y 5 in Concepción and the 6 in Santiago. “And let's hope it can go through Valparaíso too”, he concluded.
