The American band Groundation just presented his new song “The Youth”, the second single from his next album Candle Burning, whose launch is scheduled for next 23 of May.
“The Youth” presents not to one, but to two reggae legends, as Mykal Rose, former singer of Black Uhuru, Y Alpha Blondy, the african king of reggae, together with his own the video also breaks new ground by having both groups, the leader of Groundation.
According to the group itself, this song “it's a reflection, a conversation with our younger selves, looking back on our childhood, in the lessons we have learned and calling the youth of today, urging you to take advantage of this fleeting moment where your energy, strength and possibilities are limitless”.
Regarding the new album Candle Burning, the eleventh of the band, that will see the light in May, “It is a musical journey that does not stop at the negative, but embrace the light, the fire and life that burns in all of us… (what) talks about resilience, of the flames that guide us forward and the energy that connects us with each other and with the world”.
further, will feature the collaboration of great voices, like those mentioned Mykal Rose and Alpha Blondy, in addition to “Echoes of Sound Systems – When the Two 7’s Clash” is presented as the Sound Clash to end all the sound clashes that will compete for the first major Y Thomas Mapfumo, among others.
