Chilean reggae will have an important participation in the next Worrying which will take place next Saturday 1 June at the Pococí Expo in the city of Guápiles, located at 70 kilometers northeast of San José, the capital of Costa Rica.
Precisely the main Chilean band Gondwana, who organizes the event, headlines the show's poster alongside the Jamaican Italian alborosie, while fellow nationals will also be present Dj Pensativo Y El Shaaki (aka Shaak Daddy). further, local artists will perform at the festival Dread Force, Tala, Selecta Herbalist y Dj Colochos.
In conversation with Reggae Chalice, the bassist and founder of the band, I-locks Labbe, He explained that the materialization of this contest is one of his dreams and life goals, which is why it is based on your current country of residence: Costa Rica.
“It is a country that really likes reggae and knows a lot about the genre. (…) The idea is to grow and bring people closer every day to the artists and exponents of international Reggae with whom we already have friendships and we repeatedly meet at the different festivals we attend around the world.”, commented.

It should be noted that this is the second edition of Gondfest, the first was carried out in the year 2022 in Cahuita, town in Costa Rica that is located near the border with Panama, totally self-managed event that on that occasion had the collaboration of the Cahuita Chamber of Commerce.
