“Evolution”, the evolution in the new stage of The Wailers

The Wailers presented their new album

Last 30 August the legendary band The Wailers released his new album called Evolution, a production that arrives four years after One World and it is the second plate in this stage under the leadership of Aston Barrett Jr.

The band itself defines this new album as “a profound musical journey that combines the timeless rhythms of reggae with a rich tapestry of Latin and Caribbean influences” and has collaborations with artists of the stature of Mykal Rose; Marcia Griffiths, member of the I-Threes; Gramps Morgan Y Emily Estefan.

“This album is a testament to The Wailers' enduring legacy of unity., love and inclusion, core values ​​that have resonated in his music since the days of Bob Marley”, supports the group itself, emphasizing that “continue to push the boundaries of their iconic sound, creating a collection of songs that speak both of the soul and of the times in which we live”.

It is precisely Aston Barrett Jr. who took the testimony of his father who died at the beginning of the year, Aston “Familyman” Barrett, as leader of the band who “has been instrumental in ensuring that The Wailers' music continues to resonate with audiences around the world.”.  

The album was produced by Grammy winner Emilio Estefan Jr., who has worked with his superstar wife Gloria, as well as with Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony among many others, with a career of more than 40 years.

The disk has 12 songs in which the band demonstrates its entire history and at the same time the evolution that this new stage entails with the new generations that took control of the group..
