The Peter Tosh Foundation announced a new edition of Tosh Fest, a celebration of the life and work of the reggae legend Peter Tosh.
The festival will be held on Sunday 19 October at Peter Tosh Memorial Garden in Bluefields, Westmoreland, final resting place of Tosh and a sacred space dedicated to preserving his legacy.
To commemorate what would have been the birthday 81 of Peter Tosh , This year's festival is free and open to all ages.
Attendees will enjoy a full day of live performances, local food and craft stalls, activities for the whole family and a special tribute ceremony in honor of the musician, pioneering activist and cultural icon.
Tosh Fest It is more than an entertainment event, It is a community meeting that reflects the values that Peter Tosh defended throughout his life: unit, justice and the power of music to inspire change.
