This Saturday 15 July a new version of the dance contest was developed Dancehall Queen (DHQ) 2023 at Jammin Club from the Bellavista neighborhood, in the commune of Recoleta, which was marked by the high level of the participants and also by their enthusiasm.
On this occasion the categories were disputed Dancehall Queen y Dancehall Princess, while the jurors were the dancer Netherlands B-Fly, the winner of the edition 2018 del DHQ, Mad Lighta, and from Jamaica the dancer Mama Blazzaz.
In the Queen category was imposed “rubber girl” (Kaitlyn Sandoval) while secondly it turned out Sassy Gyal (Ivania Obreque) and in third position was Queen Collie (Romina Varas).
While the Princess category was won by Cami G-Yal (Camila Galdames), second place was obtained Wet Fruit (Alfonsina Yaravi), and third place went to Flow of Venus Antumalen (Carolina Castillo).

For the event organizer, Souling Labbe, The competition had a very good level and hopes to project it into the future with greater professionalism.
“The version 2023 from DHQ Chile was incredible, there was a tremendous level of participants and nothing more to say in that regard because the level in Chile has been very high for a while.”, said the organizer.
Labbé emphasized that “This year we had to face the stage of evaluating our work, that also implies a good filter and growth as the great and important competitive event that is, apart from the oldest and pioneer in our country and Latin America, positioning itself in the place it deserves to be. Little by little we are going together to take this to a professional and important level here and in the world”.
Finally the organizer stated that there was “pure beautiful vibes for this great event, creative feminine energy does its thing at New Moon, shedding false beliefs and trusting, because everything is done from a deep love and when this is the case the path opens lovingly”.
