Dee Master and Reggae Es Vida Radio present the One Riddim “Killinging”

A new One Riddim was released a few days ago, the “Killinging“, a joint work between the Colombian producer Dee Master Y Reggae Is Life Radio (REVR), along with several artists from various countries such as Jamaica, Chile, Colombia, St. Lucia, Panama, Curacao, Suriname and Saint Lucia.

Is about 13 tracks that feature the participation of artists of the stature of Both Metro, obliged, Balaguero, Galaxy P, Souyenge, Alicia Love and Digital Dread, among others.

The leader of REVR, Balaguero, commented to Reggae Chalice which is the sixth production of this style that they have made as REVR and the first with the Colombian producer.

“This new production in alliance with Dee Master is the first we have done together and the first for him in this case. We as REVR had already edited 5 productions, ā€˜Imperial Majesty Riddim’ (2012), ā€˜Mighty Riddim’ (2013), ā€˜Jahma Riddim’ (2013), ā€˜Amarte Riddim’ (2015) Y ā€˜Your Love Riddim’ (2016), hence ā€˜Killinging Riddim’ (2024) becomes our sixth production and at the same time, the first Dancehall Riddim we released”, explained the national singer.

The collaboration between Balaguero and Dee Master has already been going on for some years with works such as “Rainbow”, the EP of the Chilean singer, which led to the realization of this production with several artists.

“Following Dee Master's release of the single “Killinging” in the voice of Galaxy P (Jamaica) is that the idea arose to project it as a production with several artists and since November 2023 that we began to shape it and what took us the most time was the 12 remaining artists will record their versions, because working with various artists will always be an interesting challenge”, stated the national musician.

further, stressed that “When we thought about adding Tanto Metro and Devonte we were convinced that it was a riddim very in line with them, although, to be honest, We were very pleasantly surprised when they agreed to participate. and it is something that sets a precedent because it is the first connection between these great Jamaican artists with Latin producers”.

—What does it mean to you to release a One Riddim made in Latam but with an important variety of Anglo artists?, especially Jamaicans?

—Resuming what we did before with REVR means a lot, more in this time and more considering that now the possibilities are broader, It is a path that we want to continue exploring and developing because at the Latin level there is a need for more productions of this type., We hope to motivate more producers to dare to do it too..

The Riddim is available on YouTube and will soon also be on various digital platforms.
