"In search of your Love" is the name of the most recent single from the Peruvian band Seeds and that has the participation of the American band Big Mountain, musical group very famous for its version in the reggae key of “Baby, I Love Your Way” de Peter Frampton.
With 23 years of experience, “Semillas” is one of the main reggae bands in Peru. His music is characterized by the cadence of reggae and the mixture of the roots sound., dancehall, lovers rock, hip hop with touches of Peruvian folklore.
In conversation with Reggae Chalice, José Fiestas "Lobo", guitarist and one of the founders of the band, said they have a long-standing friendship with "Quino" McWhinney, the iconic voice of Big Mountain, bond that allowed them to generate this combination in their latest production.
"The idea of being able to record together was always in plans, but due to agenda issues and times it could not be done. In the year 2020 gave us time to resume our plans, and we were just working on the song "In search of your Love" to which we thought that Quino was going to give a special touch with his participation and that's how this 2021 as part of what will be the new album ", added the guitarist.
The single is the first of the scheduled releases of the year and is part of the band's new album., where they already advance the presentation of an upcoming single called "Fugitivo", song that has the participation of the Argentine band "Nonpalidece" and that they project will be released before the end of the year. Both are part of the list of 8 tracks that will complete Semillas' third studio album.
The audiovisual production of "In Search of your Love" was in charge of "Nunchaco Films" and tells the story of two people separated by the current context of the pandemic that is being experienced worldwide., but that through music, art and love maintain a connection despite the distance.
