Last 13 March the volume was released 1 of the “Booty Code Riddim”, a producer-led production Selecta Ramces, which brings together several exponents of Chilean dancehall and is already preparing the second version.
Unlike current trends that often move away from the roots, This riddim is committed to recovering the classic sound. With a marked rhythmic base, direct influences of dancehall shatta and the bootybeat, and the use of samples with a tropical air, The proposal achieves a balance between the conscious message and the energy of the dance floor.
“More than a launch, This riddim is presented as a collaborative platform that seeks to bring together different voices on the same basis, generating identity, connection and growth within the movement”, commented Selecta Ramces.
According to the producer, The intention of this work is to keep the spirit alive rudeboy within a modern and competitive production context.
The origin of the project dates back to December 2025, when the producer began to experiment with rhythms inspired by the decades of the 80, 90 Y 2000, and what began as an individual creative exercise, it ended up becoming a massive collaboration.
The volume 1 has 11 tracks and the voices of figures such as mixed Coco, Santos Cruel, JrGhetto, Dozen Stylah Y McBuay, among others.
While the volume 2 is already in process and will add to Sakuete, Raggagyal Y Jah Sito, among others.
