Almost five years later Oscar returned to perform on Chilean stages last Friday 3 from January to the album release Sound of Freedom of Tommy Di, in a show held at the Municipal Theater of San Joaquín, in which they were also present Kutral Dub and the Mexican-American Sgt. Remo.
Lived several years ago in Argentina, until last Friday the last live presentation of Oscar in Chile it went back to the year 2019, at an event held at the Bunna Cafeteria, in the Cajon del Maipo. Then, in 2021, He also came to the country to record his album affections together with Manuel Cartes with La Calle Records, although on that occasion it did not appear live.
What's coming now for the former lead singer of the Tanaka Brothers are several shows, one of them the 10 January in Valparaíso on the Terraza Miaw (Admiral Montt 109), from 21:00 hours, in an event organized by Cosecha del Puerto and in which they will also be Sgt. Remo, Tommy Di, Kutral Dub, JJ Art, Black Arca and the Porteña Crew.
Then, Saturday 11 the appointment will be in Cultural Center La Calle Records, The Star 1251, Cerro Navia, where the singer will share the stage with Kutral Dub, Sgt. Remo, Tommy Di, BbyFonick, Brocaflex Wuakki Selector.
He will also have two other presentations, one on Thursday 9 and the other on Sunday 12 in Rustic, For Ventura Stage 612, Matta South neighborhood, same with Kutral Dub, Sgt. Remo and Tomy Di, among others.
—Your latest works are the album “Soon” (2023) and in 2024 you released several singles like “Everything Gets Better”, “The Taste of Reality”, “The Dance”, “In the Name of God”, “I don't know if it happens to you” In this pass will you take advantage of showing them?
-Of course, plus some classics, the idea is to show new things, I'm not very into the nostalgic vibe, I like to bet on new proposals and break schemes. Furthermore, together with Kutral Dub we bring a quite innovative sound proposal.
—What can you tell us about what you will present at the shows??
—You could say that we are a crew with Kutral Dub, besides Tomy Di, Sgt. Remo and JJ Art, we will combine in some riddims, I will make a medley of styles with classics and novelties and as always the surprise factor.
—In several of these presentations you will share the stage with Tomy Di and Sgt. Remo. Tomy presents his first album. What do you think of this?? It is also Remo's first time in Chile. What do you think about his visit and his music??
—Who runs the ship is Kutral Dub, In his latest productions we are Tomy, Rowing and me, so we are joining forces to make live presentations of what we worked on 2024. Tomy and Remo are at a very good level, They are younger and have a way to go.
—What's coming for Oskart this 2025?
—I spent a couple of years composing and working in the studio, the plan for this year is to play live, I will surely make an album since I have several songs to record, also some work as a composer and rhythm production, But I'm going to focus mainly on going out and playing live as much as possible..
