A day full of live music, baile, workshops and food will be lived this Saturday 15 April in the El Naranjo Space, in the commune of Santiago, with the event Feria de Ska, Arts and crafts, activity that has been carried out since the year 2017.
Starting at noon the so-called “Taller Ska”, defined as an instance of collective learning and that in this edition will be divided into three parts: first of all, “the origin and main references of Jamaican ska”; then the “explosion of ska in the world and its ramifications”; and finally the question will be addressed “Is ska political or social music?”.
The exponents will be the musicians of the band Addis Ababa Roren and Alexis, in addition to Niko, ska promoter through the El Rincón del Rude Boy website, and will also be present Ismael Libertad, Skaldik Band musician and creator of Club Ska, body that organizes this initiative.
Later, starting at 18:00 hours, bands will perform At Kntina, presenting his new album “Kntina's stories”, from Osorno they will be present RaskaBanda Y Black Kombo, in addition to Muskaria Banda, presenting his single “Beasts”.
The event will take place at El Naranjo Space, located in Beaueff 1911, Rondizzoni Metro, commune of Santiago, with free entry from 12:00 until 18:00 hours and later $3.000 (pre-sale through Club Ska networks) Y $5.000 at door.
