A unique night of reggae promises the event Backed By Unity Sound with the return to Chilean lands of Spanish musicians Morodo and Jah Nattoh, the next Thursday 21 of May at Club Chocolate.
The show prepares a tour of the classics of both such as “The Yerba del Rey”, “You are like Fire” Y "Babylon" from Morodo, O “When you are not there” Y “Learning to Sing” by Jah Nattoh, in addition to other successes such as “Not with me.”, a collaboration between both.
Both artists have had a great influence on Spanish reggae, as well as internationally.
On the one hand, Morodo has positioned himself as one of the references of Spanish reggae, particularly for its roots reggae style and dancehall influence, while Jah Nattoh is characterized by his style roots & conscious, with lyrics close to spiritual and social themes, heavily influenced by classic Jamaican reggae.
Both musicians have visited Chile on multiple occasions throughout their careers., becoming a regular destination on their South American tours. Some dates were iconic, such as the celebration of the 20 years of the album “Things to tell you” by Morodo, made in 2024 at the Caupolican Theater.
The appointment will be next Thursday 21 May at the Chocolate Club, located in Ernesto Pinto Lagarrigue 198, Recoleta, leading the night Backed By Unity.
