This Sunday 9 from December mixed Coco will launch his latest work, EP called “Barrio Life” within the framework of the Natural Reggae Fest, an event that will take place at the San Pedro de la Paz Amphitheater, from 14:00 hours.
At the event with free access there will be several guests, as McJona (Voice of Gondwana), Parley, Combo Klatt , Dj Radikal and Malas Juntas Crew in dance.
In conversation with Reggae Chalice, the artist, with cases 20 years of musical career, explained what this new job is about.
“Son 5 songs produced during this year and whose peculiarity is the collaboration with producers and singers from different parts of the planet. The theme is social and relevant to what is happening in Chile and the feelings of the people who live on the outskirts of the cities.. It has a different sound”, Coco commented..
“Barrio Life, of the deliciousness of life in a ghetto, of the simple things, the fun of talking with your neighbors, the stories, the children, the pichangas and all that magic and resilience that prevails over the negative and that I try to capture in my songs”, he added.
As for the rhythms of these songs, The southern singer maintained that the EP “It is very dancehall with dance songs and other Reggae songs., going through some changes of rhythms and other nuances typical of each music producer who participated”.
