Say yes, which name is Mario Moraga González, is a writer, composer and singer born in the Atacama Desert, Chile, who was vocalist and leader of the reggae band The Triumphant Head, with which he recorded a studio album and another live CD called Triumphant Moments.

further, in 2020 produced his first album as Petah Iah, called from Return to the Mud plus several singles before this Visual EP.

In conversation with Reggae Chalice, the artist explained what this production consists of, the first in conjunction with the band that accompanies him The Mind Renewing Band, made of Adin Argueta (El Salvador) on guitar and choirs, Beto Quintanilla (Peru) on bass and chorus and Ezequiel Alois (Argentina) on drums and djembe.

“El EP se llama ‘Live From The Mountains’ because we did it in the mountains of Candler NC and it is an intimate and rustic experience that seeks to transport listeners and viewers to the beauty and peace of the mountains. Each song is accompanied by stunning visuals that capture the colors of the environment and the energy of the live performance., musicians and assistants”, said Petah Iah.

The musician also stressed that “la estructura musical de ‘Live From The Mountains’ comprehends an instrumental introduction, plus five songs that vary in styles and rhythm”.

As detailed, the setlist contains the remake of the singer's debut song “Back to the mud” -recorded in studio the year 2020-, and others 4 songs, 3 of them unpublished, plus another composed by the artist during his time at La Cabeza Triunfante.

“The set of songs promises a musical journey where roots reggae stands out, ska and cumbia, and also promises to raise awareness regarding our spirituality and identity through lyrics”, Peteh Iah emphasized..

一Yes, of course! There is no lack of desire. Chilito is always on the agenda. We don't know when but we hope to visit Chile and some other countries in Central and South America where my fellow musicians in the band are from..

oneWhat are your projects for the future??

一We have in mind to make ourselves known through this Visual EP that we are releasing in order to reach some places in the US. where we are interested in playing. We also have in mind to start recording an album as a band starting in the middle of next year..
