The Villa Alemana gang Kelu Reggae is presenting his new single titled “walking distance”, a live recording of his performance at the last Reggae festival “Cultivate your Mind”.
According to the nascent group, which sets its beginnings in December 2021, It's about “a sensory proposal of slow passages, deep lyrics and insinuating metaphors”.
Its creators propose that “sometimes the looks, the details, the aromas, the caresses in those moments of connection with another person, they give us those lapses of internal or even shared reflection, where a language is created that they manage to know and share among themselves, that as musicians, artists or creators, These details invite us to write and compose about those delicate processes or intimate moments.”.
Kelu Reggae is made up of 8 musicians from from different parts of Chile and is working on his first EP that will include 4 unpublished works, with which they seek to transfer their reggae fused styles such as Jazz, Dub, Rock y RockSteady, plus all the content of its existential lyrics, to new sound planes of reggae in Chile.
