Kafu Banton made Santiago vibrate on his return to Chile

At a show with completely sold out tickets, Kafu Banton made the dance floor explode with the greatest hits that have marked his more than 25 year career, making him one of the references of dancehall in Spanish.

The session started with Chakana SoundSystem livening up the night with her robust set, accompanied by live performances by King Revel; Samurai Court; The AndrƩ and the Kako Delaspalmeras and Bad Rikky. At the controls, Djs Bobby R, Reina, Kraise and Antioch kept the party going throughout the day.

The Panamanian jumped onto the Casa Bellavista stage at 1 a.m.. During the hour that his show lasted, songs like “Let's go to the beach”, “I am a One Love” and “Morena”, They unleashed an audience that chanted and danced non-stop, demonstrating his affection for the Central American artist who has filled the venues in which he has performed since the first time he visited Chile in 2008.

With this triumphant return to Santiago, Zico Alberto Garibaldi Roberts — who derived his stage name from his admiration for Brazilian soccer player CafĆŗ and Jamaican legend Buju Banton — showed why he continues to be nicknamed “The Mutant”.
