The Basque artist Juantxo Skala & At Rude Band confirmed an unprecedented presentation with the legendary Jamaican ska band The Skatalites, in which they will explore their extensive catalog of classics.
The appointment is confirmed for next Thursday 22 October at Colosseum Theater, a place that has already received both groups before with successful concerts.
Juantxo Skalari has just performed in Santiago with the Rude Band and historical members of his iconic group Skalariak in the celebration concert "Scalari30ak", which sold out last year.
While The Skatalites had a successful presentation at the “Yein fonda” together with Los Tres as part of a bond that they have been strengthening with Álvaro Henríquez after recording the cover “A Violent Love”.
There is an obvious link between both bands., given that the Jamaican group defined the sound of ska that crossed borders since the beginning of the 60 In Jamaica, which is still valid today, while Skalari, since his beginnings as leader of Skalariak, has confirmed being a follower of the important Caribbean team.
