“The Captive of Til-Til”, emblematic Chilean song written by Patricio Manns in honor of Manuel Rodríguez, The Guerrilla of Freedom, is the new production in reggae version that the artist is promoting these days Jahime Irie.
“I chose this song because it is a symbol of struggle and resistance, of freedom, because it represents our history and because it is too important in the Chilean music songbook.. It is a song that I have been performing for more than 15 years but had never been through the study until now, and that -personally- It fills me with feeling when I interpret it”, the artist commented to Reggae Chalice Magazine.
The single featured production and keyboards by Bigtouch at Ghetto Estudio as part of the Cosas Buenas Producciones catalog.. Jonás Zamorano participated in the recording (drums), Jorge Giorginho pinwheel (low), Jonathan Magic Gallardo (guitar) y Johnny Marquez (saxophone).
