A fire that occurred during the early hours of this Wednesday destroyed the pub La Isla Club Restobar, located on Pajaritos avenue with Argentina, in the Maipú commune.
According to police records, The incident began after 06:00 hours at the dancehall music venue and the quick action of the Fire Department prevented the fire from spreading to surrounding venues.
At the moment there are no injuries reported since the premises remained closed since Monday and firefighters are investigating the causes of the fire.

This is unfortunate news since At the beginning of last October this well-known Afro-Caribbean rhythms pub had celebrated its sixth anniversary.
The club's resident DJ, Galo Green, said to Reggae Chalice be “devastated” for this fact, but it also manifested “grateful for so much love and affection for the club” due to the multiple messages they have received on social networks regretting the fire.
