The next Saturday 22 of November will be carried out the ninth version of the Kuriche Fest, an event that will take place as it traditionally occurs in the Artisan Village of Pirque, in a day of live, outdoor music and art, so that the whole family can enjoy national artists.
This edition will have a wide lineup of exponents of the local scene such as King Revel, MC Meza & Swedish lion, Almeida, The sound, Xina Le Fleur & kejay, NCL & Entregris, Isaias Ras and Nico Zegers.
“The essence (of the festival) “It is to rescue the roots and show that it is possible to build from union and mutual support.”, they commented to Reggae Chalice Magazine the event organizers.
Maintaining the organization of Kuriche Fest over time is a job that has been sustained “based on pure endurance, love for music and keeping culture alive in our community (Pirque)”, they emphasize from the organization.
“Persevering over time has also given us a wide network of contacts and support from groups in different cities. (…) people who join over the years seeing that Kuriche Fest lives by and for the people”, they added.
The day will also feature live graffiti in the hands of Heis and Matizarte, while the DJ set will be in charge of Small Lion, Selector Keenrootz y Dj Reggaeseros.
“Attendees will be able to enjoy themselves in a family-friendly outdoor space. (…) with top-notch artists from different cities in our country. further, We always have the best natural food and crafts in the area”, emphasizes organization.
Admission to the Kuriche Fest will be free, to live a family day outdoors from 12:00 until 21:00 hours in the Artisan Village of Pirque.
