In conversation with Reggae Chalice, Valencia, He detailed that the EP Andes Reggae All Stars volumen 1 It's instrumental, has five songs, three of them composed by him, plus a cover of The Skatalites, plus a dub of that song by Patagonia Dub, all recorded at the Santuario Sónico studio.
“I wear some 15 years playing reggae and I have met a lot of musicians and I have made many friends and those friendships are playing on this album. This is a very unique project because we never rehearse the compositions., They are from the time of pandemic. I told the kids to do an experiment., that I was going to rent the studio and was going to bring some compositions, arrangements, and that we were going to record it. Everyone managed it. The time came and we spent the whole day recording, locked up. We would rehearse the song once or twice and then record it.”, The musician explained.

“Enhance musicians from reggae bands”
Likewise, The trombonist emphasized that for him it is crucial to give importance to the work of the musicians, while the name of the collective has to do with the unit, just as the Andes Mountains join the continent.
“The idea of this project is to highlight musicians from reggae bands at the Chilean level., mainly, and it is called Andes because our idea is to be able to take this project to other countries and generate this union between reggae musicians that sometimes does not happen.. The Andes Mountains are what unites the entire continent and the idea is also to unite all the musicians who are making reggae from different points., be able to generate the connection. We already have some conversations with musicians from Bolivia, from Argentina, There we are watching and organizing for future recordings”, Emanuelle Valencia highlighted.
The musicians who participated in this instrumental album, in addition to Emmanuelle Valencia on the trombone and compositions, son Diego Contreras, drums; Yerko Muñoz, low; Jimmy Rivas, guitar; Víctor Bigtouch, keyboards; Nekki, percussion; Pancho Contreras, trumpet; Janeke, saxo tenor; Polo Garcia, saxo tenor; and mixing and mastering also by Patagonia Dub.
