The French Manudigital premieres “Digital Kingston Session Vol. 2”

Recently awarded as “Dub Artist of 2020” by the French magazine specialized in Jamaican sounds, French artist Manudigital presents a second episode of his famous “Digital Kingston Session” after the success of the first edition, session officially released as a digital disc and also on vinyl 12″.

Three years have passed since the first volume of these sessions was published, in the year 2018. The basis of this concept are videos filmed at street level in different corners of Kingston, the capital of Jamaica. In them, French producer invites Jamaican vocalists from Reggae's golden age 2.0 to perform some of your classics in one take, to the beat of the riddims that ‘Manu’ is playing with the legendary Casio MT40 (‘Sleng Teng Keyboard’, instrument that revolutionized the new reggae scene). The Parisian producer has become an institution with more than 105.000 subscribers in your YouTube channel, grabbing an ever-growing audience worldwide.

In “Digital Kingston Session Vol. 2”, Manudigital managed to bring together fundamentals of the scene such as the legendary Capleton and Junior Cat, as well as other lesser known but highly talented names like Devon Morgan, Peter Metro, Jigsy King y Bunny General.

As in the first volume, the pack includes two bonus sessions recorded outside of Jamaica and that complete the tracklist, like a Brooklyn recording with Gareth Shelton a.k.a Red Fox (New York DJ born in Jamaica); and the other in Paris with the spectacular English MC Deemas J, who has accompanied Manudigital on stage since 2018.
