A workshop aimed at male and female dancers who take classes is the one being organized by Dancehall Queen Chile for early January in which pedagogical tools and new methodologies will be delivered to improve the way they teach their lessons.
This is an instance called “Learn to teach” that will be carried out Saturday 11 from January in Pío Nono 219, full Bellavista neighborhood, commune of Providencia, between the 14:30 and the 20:30 hours, which will be in charge of the dancer, pedagogue and coach Marcia Gómez, known as “Marwa”.
“And Dancehall Queen, our mission is to promote culture, the education and recognition of our dancers in society. We want our artists to be valued and respected for their talent and dedication (…) In a society where dance and art in general are not valued or remunerated accordingly, We want to make it worthwhile to dedicate yourself to dance and be paid for it.”, He said Souling Labbe, organizer of this workshop, a Reggae Chalice Magazine.
Labbé added that with this event he hopes that those who attend can better transmit their knowledge to their students..
“We want our dancers to not only be excellent in their technique and style, but also be able to transmit their knowledge and passion to others. We want them to be leaders in their community and inspire others to follow in their footsteps., That's why we are working hard to offer them the tools and training necessary so they can achieve their goals and realize their dreams.. We want them to be the best versions of themselves and to share their talent and passion with the world.”, the organizer emphasized.
Registration for this activity will be open until 31 from December, paying a first installment on that date and the second installment can be paid until the day of the event. For more information and workshop content, check out this link.
