The culture of reggae and the soundsystem continues moving through Chilean territory and between 17 and the 23 February, the colective Chakana Soundsystem will undertake the “Tour al Norte”, a tour of the northern part of the country, carrying music, education and cultural activities to various communities in the Atacama Region.
There will be seven musical sessions in cities like Copiapo, Chañaral Y Caldera, together with various groups to bring culture closer, music and art.
“La Chakana moves by decentralizing and sharing the cultural soundsystem with street art in regions and free for the whole family”, the group stated on their social networks.
Line up and guest artists
The musical caravan will feature a solid selection of national artists, composed by Musiféminas, native roots, Rustiko, Dj Lake y Solrak, who will be joined by special guests such as King Revel, Soulfyah y Dj Rhymes.
In each location, the tour will open spaces for jugglers, local dancers and artists, promoting citizen participation and regional talent, as well as fwater party for children, cultural and educational activities for the whole family.

This tour represents a self-managed effort to keep alive the essence of street soul and the message of unity that characterizes the Reggae movement in Chile.
