But it was until I saw that presentation where Camilo after dedicating that song to his mother who was in the audience, breaks down in tears, is that I realized that the theme I had to cover was precisely Forgive me. There I closed the circle for me, Well, I met Camilo through my mother and in some way this version that I have just recorded is also dedicated to her and to everything that she transmitted to me and that has helped me so much throughout my life ", Quique holds.
Perdóname was part of the album Amanezando, edited by the Spanish artist in the year 1980 and it is the soundtrack of the lives of millions of Spanish speakers. “I feel that this version is the spark that was expected for many more to come from other artists.
