Jahmiel launches his new project “Revamp”

As people around the world continue to be quarantined by staying home to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, artists have used the time to develop their creative side. At the middle of March, when the world of music went into collective retirement, the festivals were postponed; tours were canceled, and top artists put their albums aside, international artist Jahmiel did the opposite.

While social distancing was applied in Jamaica due to the pandemic, Jahmiel was focused on putting the finishing touches on his second EP titled “REVAMP”, produced by his own record label Patriotz Music, and Akiem Bingham para Quantanium Records.

Distributed by Hapilos, the EP “Revamp” was written by Jamiel Foster a.k.a “Jahmiel” and was recently released, last 12 June of this year. Written and recorded during the last four weeks of the pandemic, each song talks about self introspection and life experience. Music has long been a mirror of history, notes the press release.

“During the last weeks in quarantine I realized that many of my fans and people in general have complained about having to stay indoors and the inability to party when they want to.. But I want people to know how to use this moment wisely, don't let this pandemic make you panic ", expressed the artist.

Jahmiel appealed to his followers: “Look inside yourself and restart, revamp (remake). Whether it's your business, your relationship or you as a person, as mother, restart, gets better, become a better person. We can only achieve that by making a conscious effort to go inside., internally and remake (revamp)”.

There are only a handful of artists in music whose legacies have left a trail behind a generation of current and future musicians., and Jahmiel - with only one album and two EPs- has ensured his legacy as one of the most essential voices in music. His incomparable sense of who he is and his uncompromising artistry, its versatility, his constantly evolving musical style and impact, make him one of the most important artists of the last years of Jamaica.

“With this EP I share some new aspects of Jahmiel and some experiences that allowed me to refocus and remake myself (revamp)”, said the artist.

REVAMP"Consists of five singles" Preserve my life ", “I see an angel”, “Life lessons”, "Lights off" premiered in mid-March, y “Shining”. The new production of the young Jamaican artist is available on all its digital platforms.
